GUIDED 3 DAY TREK IN THE MEHARIS (ON FOOT AND CAMELS) M'HAMID

DAY BY DAY DETAILED PROGRAM:

For Marrakech trekking tour

TREKKING DAY 1 :

Chegaga Aventure organises private trekking tour in Sahara desert. Departure through a superb road crossing the high Atlas via the highest road pass, the Tizi n’Tichka (2260m). Lunch on the way, we cross the Tizi N’Tnifift pass to reach Agdz and the Draa Valley, and we continue on the off-road from Agdz through fortified villages and palm groves towards the oasis of Zagora. Dinner and overnight in the hotel. Early morning departure after breakfast from M’hamid heading Sidi Naji tomb, an ancient Marabout, that became a pilgrimage destination for the nomads. We cross the palm-grove and have lunch under the palm trees. After a little rest, we continue our march towards Sidi Naji. We reach the bivouac and have dinner around the fire and enjoy musical plays and good ambiance and some sand bread.

TREKKING DAY 2 :

From Sidi Naji, We regain Erg Ait Ounir through the Tamarisk forest in the Draa Valley and the dry river. Lunch and the journey continues until the evening where we will set the bivouac for the night.

TREKKING DAY 3 :

From Ait Ounir, We depart in tranquillity to M’hamid taking the other side of the river of Draa. Chegaga Aventure would like to thank you for trekking in Chegaga with trusted and professional travel company.
